  • <p>Westeros's Most Hated: Roose Bolton (<strong>Michael McElhatton</strong>) and his psychotic son Ramsay (<strong>Iwan Rheon</strong>).</p>
  • <p><strong>Patrick Malahide</strong> returns as Balon Greyjoy, father of Theon and Yara.</p>

  • <p>The Will They/Won't They (make that Why Do They/Why Can't They Stop) couple, Jamie and Cersei Lannister (<strong>Nikolaj Coster-Waldau</strong> and <strong>Lena Headey</strong>)</p>
  • <p>Jamie Lannister returns with his deceased daughter/niece (don't ask) under wraps.</p>
  • <p>Jamie Lannister shows his son/nephew the aforementioned deceased daughter/niece. (It's complicated).</p>
  • <p><strong>Gemma Whelan</strong> returns as Theon Greyjoy's no-nonsense sister, Yara.</p>
  • <p>Fresh from her quick exit from <em>Star Wars: The Force Awakens</em>, <strong>Gwendoline Christie</strong> returns as badass warrior Brienne of Tarth.</p>
  • <p><strong>Liam Cunningham</strong> is as surprised as you are that his Davos Seaworth is still alive in Season Six.</p>
  • <p>The closest Game of Thrones comes to a happy couple, Samwell Tarly (<strong>John Bradley</strong>) and Gilly (<strong>Hannah Murray</strong>)</p>
  • <p>The aforementioned Ramsay Bolton. Fell free to hiss.</p>
  • <p>Carice van Houten returns as the mysterious Melisandre - does her dark magic have anything to do with Jon Snow's possible return?</p>

Until Game of Thrones' sixth season premieres on April 24th, we won't know for sure just what is happening. TV fans don't know. Book readers don't know. IS JON SNOW ALIVE?!? (Is he dead? Is he dead/alive?) So many questions. So few answers. But we do have photos. Twenty photos.

HBO has continued its pitch perfect lead up campaign of trickling out a poster here, a seconds-long teaser there, just enough to remind us that winter is coming and now is as good a time as any to rekindle our obsession with the ups and downs of Westorosi life.

Theon and Sansa! Bran... standing? Tyrion drinking (natch). Let the nerd sleuthing begin.
