David D. Burstein is a writer, filmmaker, and the founder of the youth voter engagement organization Generation18 and the director of the films 18 in 08 and Up to Us. David has appeared as a commentator on youth and politics for a range of publications and media outlets including: CNN, ABC, NPR, the New York Times, USA Today, Boston Globe, and Philadelphia Inquirer, among others. His book, Fast Future: How the Millennial Generation is Shaping Our World will be released in February 2013. He lives in New York City.
