Daft Punk Goes Gloriously Retro For New Merchandise Ads

The group's soft-focus, copy-heavy fake print ads turn back the clock to the days of disco.

The recent rise of electronic dance music into the mainstream is reminiscent of another time when beats and dancing really mattered, and now Daft Punk has harked back to the days of their electro-forefathers with a snazzy set of retro print ads.

The ads for new band merchandise are gloriously '70s, from the soft focus images to the copy writing style, they look like they stepped right out of a 1974 issue of Creem. Nice moves.
